It's important to stay designing to improve your speed and skills as much as possible. And what better way than to submit your designs in a competition? It could put you in the running to win some awesome prizes as well as have an extra title or two under the "awards" section of your résumé!
Depending on the competition you could submit work already in your portfolio or any personal projects you've been working on. Be sure to read each submission requirement carefully and be sure to fulfill all the required outcomes.

- The Design Kids also have a great website and run some big student-based competitions so keep an eye out for regular competitions.
- You can submit your work at anytime to one of our favourite websites, The Dieline. Of course it must be one of your packaging pieces and it gives you a great opportunity to promote your work.
- Pinterest is also a really nice way to get your work out there – you never know who could stumble across it! So start pinning and be sure to hash tag #thiscreativelife on your posts so it can pop up when we search for it!
Go on, start designing, drawing, clicking and submitting – good luck!
