Not satisfyied with creating the world's first 3D printed record, Amanda Ghassaei has now created wooden, laser cut records. The results are not only striking in a visual sense, but the audible versions of the songs cut into the wood in this way are strangely haunting. Tracks that Amanda has chosen so far include Radiohead's Idioteque and The Velvet Underground's Sunday Morning.
Have a watch of the video to get a better sense of what the sound's actually like and to get a glimpse of the process.
