Colour brings Telstra the Aussie Telcoms to life

For the first time in a long while Telstra doesn't look like an bad late eighties / early ninties throw back identity. I heard via the grape vine that Interbrand Sydney worked on the identity re-invigoration. This could be partly their work.
I think the logo still looks like it was designed by a grandad who thinks he looks cool in his sports slacks and polo shirt. Thats not the fault of Interbrand (at least I don't think so). But the graphics, change of type face and colour certainly gives it a new lease of life.
