I was living in London when the 2012 London olympics branding was released... oooh the backlash, the bile that was spewed about this high profile brand. Now with just a year until the games open has public opinion improved?
So fast forward to now, the logo for the 2016 olympics in Rio has just been released. 70% of Brazilians like the logo but I have to wonder if maybe that is because they have seen it somewhere before?
I came across this cautionary tale on the Design Institute of Australia's site... an interesting read I must say!
