It's always so wonderful to see the work our graduates have been doing out there in the real world. Lloyd who graduated in December 2010, from our FT course in Brisbane, has recently shared with us some of the work he has been doing for the Regional Flavours Festival that was on recently in Brisbane.

Lloyd was involved in the all of the design for the entire event and I'm sure you will agree that he has done a great job. When speaking with Lloyd about the entire design process this is what he had to say:

"Working closely with the printers on this job was essential, not only was I learning about setting up documents at one tenth of the size at 1000 dpi for billboards etc, but I was also responsible for sourcing recycled and sustainable materials for all the signage, this even included the frames which my signage was fixed too.  Sounds a little intimidating for a newish designer but it was actually quite straight forward once I had sourced the right printer who was very knowledgeable with environmentally friendly products"

If you're a current Full Time student it's exciting to think that you too will be out there very soon working on jobs like these.

Congrats to Lloyd on a job well done!
