Fonts.com provides us with useful, informative and relevant information about typography! They have recently created Fontology - a resouce particularly for students, who are learning or are keen to learn more about typography. 

Work through Level 1 to find out about the history, anatomy and different families of typefaces. Work your way through to Level 4, for using typography within visual communication outcomes.
