Thanks to Melbourne graduate Andy Welsh for the tip-off on this wow-factor branding for a coffee shop in Newcastle, UK. The studio responsible are local designers Reluctant Hero — check out their site for some other beautiful design work.

It would appear that coffee as an art form — from the product right through to the presence its merchants and vendors create — is hitting fever pitch in the UK. I remember coming over here 5 years ago and being pretty roundly disappointed by coffee. Perhaps it's the influx of Aussie and Kiwi braistas that has sparked change? I'll keep believing that..!
