Design 'opinionator' Stephen Heller has written a thought-provoking piece about mediocrity in design. Take from it what you will — for me, it really reaffirms just how critical it is to follow your own work through to that point where you're not just happy with it, but that you genuinely feel inspired by it. Sure, it won't necessarily happen with every job you do, but it's nice to have aspirations!
