We love The Design Kids!

TDK provides a platform for Australian design graduates (including many of our own Shillington grads) and working graphic designers to sell one off or limited edition pieces. It's an online community made up of talented individuals designing and selling bespoke homewares, fashion and gifts.

It was launched by Frankie Ratford who we're fortunate enough to have as a part-time lecturer here in Sydney. Frankie's energy and enthusiasm is contagious as many of her students will attest. If you're part of the design circuit you're bound to meet her at some stage as there's very little going on in the creative world that she's not somehow involved in.

TDK make and produce their own range and encourage others to do the same by promoting and selling their goods on the site. The Bonjour Tote is a must this Bastille Day and check out Bianca Chang's paper sculpture called 'Twin'. Amazing! Make time to check out the blog too. Full of designy goodness.
