I always love it when I hear of how our graduates are getting on, not just when they get their first design role upon leaving us, but sometimes years later when their career, and sometimes their own businesses, are really taking off.

Belle did the Shillington course back in 2005. A couple years later she started her own business, Creative Resauce, but recently Belle and her boyfriend launched a new company called Thirst Impressions. They produce creatively designed coasters for the home using plantation stock cardboard, just like good old fashioned pubs use. I just love them, particularly as I've just moved house and need to get some coasters (doesn't matter than I don't have a dining table yet...priorities!)

These coasters are being featured at Rubellite: A Winter's feast which is part of the State of Design happening in Melbourne this month.
