Alex Trochut is a Barcelona designer, 30 yrs old and already a global design icon. His book 'More is more' explores his work practices/process. As the title suggests his work is enriched and engaging through its complexity and detail. He a is a designer, illustrator and typographer that breaks the mould of conventional graphic designer.

He is perhaps most renowned for his elaborate typography, that balances between graffiti and hand rendered typography. A lot of his work is created using illustrator which he seems to control with Jedi precision. I imagine he is a master with the gradient mesh tool but I could be wrong.

This book gives valuable insight into, who has been inspirational to him (dali, and his typographer grandfather), how his work starts ON PAPER as a sketch and how it develops into amazingly complex vector art.
