Fiji Airways underwent a complete rebrand to more closely align the airline with its proud Fijian heritage. The previous logo had no relation to the origin of Fiji and was not appealing to the eye, thus the decision to rebrand to Fiji Airways. The part I love most about the new design of the logo was that it was designed by a local Masai art designer from Fiji. The detail and meaning within the logo is very in-depth, each circle and symbol has a direct meaning to the Fijian culture and heritage.
A quote from Under Consideration described why they loved it: "The main icon is lovely, it has a great uneven texture that I applaud the designer for not turning into a geometric symmetric form when digitizing it."
