The Souvenir Society is a collaboration between Kasia Gadecki (packaging designer) and Allison Colpoys (book designer), based in Melbourne, Australia. They create stationery goods using 100% recycled paper stock and bio-degradable packaging. I love the handmade element of their work, using different textures and colours to create different shapes, patterns and designs....

I'm not afraid to admit I have a bit of a man crush on Frank Chimero. Designer, illustrator, writer and downright clever chap, Frank's new site is a beautiful, personal & complicated digital picture of who he is. Something that is sorely missing on lots of sites precisely because it is tricky to create in a digital setting. Have a read of his ...

After seeing Her, the film directed by Spike Jonze, I was incredibly curious as to who was the designer behind all the interfaces for the computer software. That'd be Geoff McFetridge, of Champion Studio. He was also responsible for the title sequence, the credits, the illustrations hanging above Theodor...

Here's a question for you - what do burgers and designers have in common? (No, the answer is not that we designers like to eat burgers.) The team from MINE are big believers in taking inspiration from any and everywhere - including that humble lunchtime burger. They've started ...

A disco ball pizza oven? Yes please! Located in Vienna, this pizzera is called Disco Volante (no, not joking) and it was designed by studio madamemohr. It is super cool - the waiters even wear specially-designed overalls created by fashion designers Milena Heussley and Luciano Raimondi. If you're ever in Vienna... ...
