Even though Belgium is small, there's still some nice design to be found here (sometimes you just need to search a bit first:) A very cool advertising agency / studio that only seems to work for 'fun' clients (fashion, museums, music...) is BaseDesign. They're also based in NY, Barcelona, Madrid and Santi...

Osaka, Japan, now has the largest shopping mall in the country and it features this pretty amazing fountain that displays the time as well as artworks using illuminated water droplets. Created by Koei Industry, it works much like a dot matrix printer, recreating images from a PC that it's linked up to. Pretty stunning results! (Thanks for the find Maz). You may have seen the ...

I love the work of Jason Munn (a.k.a The Small Stakes) for his clean, almost minimalist designs, which are always striking in their composition. G.F.D.A. is a humorous yet worthy collaborative project between designers/educators Brian Buirge and Jason Bacher. Click on "This isn't enough. I need more fucking advice" on the home page to get more advice, read about the traumatic experience of their recently hired intern and watch their 'Getting Shit Done: The Passion Behind G.F.D.A.' video. I love this project because behind the simple fact...
