Jo Ingate (London PT lecturer) has found some great examples of some beautifully simple, to-the-point adverts. A good lesson in the less-is-more approach to design: in all these instances, a strong idea conveyed in a really simple fashion. Works for me! ...

I love the work from A Friend of Mine, a studio run by Suzy Tuxen, because of the flexibility of the branding packages they create, as well as the color palettes they use. The studio is in Melbourne. They design for many different industries, doing work that includes branding, packaging and custom typography....

Marque is a branding design studio in the UK with a contemporary style. I love their designs because they are simple yet effective and have a very strong contemporary feel. In particular, their "Avenue 32" branding is a favorite - I love how they have turned a new logo into something that feels as though it has a lot of character, they have created something contemporary with a classic twist....

I love the work of Olly Moss because he pays as much attention to the negative space as the positive. Additionally, though his sensibilities are very modern his use of texture gives his work a vintage feel. Very inspirational....
