I love the work of Circle-D because they have mastered simplicity of design. They are based in Tokyo, Japan and as I don't speak Japanese I have enjoyed looking at their quality of work in terms of seeing the design principles without getting distracted by the words (as I don't speak Japanese!)....

Osaka, Japan, now has the largest shopping mall in the country and it features this pretty amazing fountain that displays the time as well as artworks using illuminated water droplets.
