Pomme Chan creates beautiful and detailed illustrations inspired by nature. I love the way she uses flowing lines and subtle colour combinations. She has recently started a scarf and clothes design company called 'What if'....

Designbolaget are a Danish studio working out of Copenhagen. They describe their studio as one working at the intersection of art, fashion and culture. Their focus is mostly on print, which is part of the appeal for me. Their work has a great style, and each case they do is distinct, strong, well-considered and original. Their work is bold and cool, and I love the emphasis on colour and balance. ...

The Fox Is Black is a very informative design blog which is run by designer Bobby Solomon in LA. Alongside up to date critiques on various current design projects, the blog also has a number of fun features, such as the Desktop Wallpaper project, where designers are encouraged to submit bespoke desktop wallpaper; the Re-Covered Books Contest, where people submit re-imagined book covers; and some f...

I particularly loved this piece of work from Mega. It was a proposal for the branding of the city they're based in, Copenhagen. The idea behind it was so simple, yet so effective at communicating the messages they were trying to get across. The way the type is set coupled with the really pleasing colour palettes deserves to be loved in my eyes....

Kate Moross became an established designer whilst she was still studying graphic design at Camberwell. I love how she has a really unique style and is not afraid to experiment with colour. She hand draws a lot of her typography, and then refines it. Check out her website, for some colourful inspiration! ...

I've been obsessing over Alex's work for a couple of years now. I love the fact that she's 100% self taught (she dropped out of school when she was 14!). Alex is an L.A. based photographer and filmmaker and has been exhibiting since 2002. She has the most incredible use of bright, bold and retro inspired colours as well as an overall feminine feel. The hair, make up and styling also play a great p...

I love the work of Bond Creative, an agency with a focus on branding. I particularly like their Allsorts packaging - the black background is suggestive of liquorice and contrasts nicely with the bright, bold 'sweet' motifs. Bond's branding solution for interior decoration store, PINO is also very interesting. The word PINO means 'stack', and clever treatment of the letter 'i' has been used to sugg...

Olly Moss is one of those illustrator/designer that makes you feel lazy, he produces a lot of work, and all of it, is worth mentioning. I really love his use of negative space in most of his movie posters and the double meaning in his shapes. He sell his prints on his website but also got some of his work to be the actual poster for a movie. If you go on his website don't forget to check his blog ...
