There is nothing better than getting your hands dirty to make a project really unique and special. I stumbled across this little video today. It's fantastic to see exactly how Village Green created this branding for the BFI Film Festival 2010. No there are no shortcuts or photoshop tricks its all done by hand... Beautiful!...

A UK based design duo - that I love so much I feel sick. Their colour palettes, type choices, clean but playful illustrations....their honesty and their integrity - they are committed to sustainable, practical design - not just for show. Adam is a senior designer at HarperCollins. He lives in Brooklyn, NYC, and recently won a place in AIGA's 50/50 exhibit. They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but I would always pick up a novel designed by Adam and immediately begin reading, without even glancing at the backcover blurb! ...

Love this calendar poster from East London studio Mash Creative. Inspired by our obsession with time, the headline package is influenced by the analogue flip clocks and, referencing 'sidereal' time (time-keeping system used by astonomers), the ink glows in the dark so that sections of the type appear like a conste...
