Role Details

Queensland Association of Independent Legal Services (QAILS) works for a fair and just Queensland and an important part of this mission is to promote community legal centres to people in need. It needs a reliable, self-motivated volunteer with a passion for both the justice and publicity. Duties include assisting with creating marketing collateral, assisting at events as well as basic administration tasks. Your hours can be up to 7.5 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive team and gain experience working in a not for profit organisation. This position is located in Stones Corner, Brisbane.
Role Details
Branding – Assist with re-establish QAILS as an evolving and dynamic organisation by creating a new name and look for the organisation. - Assist with the production of rebranding QAILS marketing collateral. - Assist with creating a style guide to be used by Community Legal Centres. - Assist with creating promotional material for the 2015 QAILS conference.

This is a graduate role with a blend of graphic design working with the Senior Print Designer and Digital Designer on various client projects. In addition, developing collateral for existing clients and applying the brand and style guide work already created. Support on client campaigns will also be required in both physical output and digital environment. Xsd has a flat structure, everyone does anything (the director does the bins!). It's really a bit like a functional family, we've always got each others backs. Expect $35-$40K plus super and regular parmas and beers (very important).

Full CS Suite capability, a keen appetite to learn and work as part of the team. MS Office skills a plus. An eye for detail and ability to work autonomously also vital. We will teach you everything you need to know, our systems are sound, efficient and proven. No 9-5'ers need apply - we work together to get the job done and enjoy the rewards when it's time to break. The successful candidate will not be phased by deadlines, happy to make coffees and clean up like everyone else does, not precious. We're all pretty real and straight up, no prima donnas here.
